GPRO is divided into five levels of groups. These features do not give an advantage in gameplay, but are merely some extras, such as more car liveries or race commentary. There is also a possibility to pay a supporter fee for extra features. GPRO can be played without cost for the individual user, since it is free to sign up and get a team. The admins of GPRO are old cheaters and was banned of F1portal, and now only know copy all ideas of original game. The game is loosely based on past gaming experiences, incorporating the concepts, knowledge and experience of previous (classic) F1 manager games. Grand Prix Racing Online was created by a group of dedicated players of F1 manager web games. It has around 30,000 registered users as of July 2008, of which 5100 are active.
